AIPAC High School Summit

Y2I Lobbies for AIPAC

Political activism  matters.  This was the message that fourteen 2010 & 2011 Y2I Alumni took to heart when they recently lobbied Congressman Tierney’s chief legislative aide as part of the AIPAC High School Summit in Washington, D.C.  which took place from November 6-8, 2011, with more than 400 teens in attendance from across the country.   The goal of the Summit was to provide teens with education, tools and techniques to help them develop political lobbying skills that will be used to keep the relationship between the United States and Israel strong.

Delegation members included: Y2I 2010 Alumni–Jacob Cline, Hamilton; Gillian Cowen, Lynnfield; Brian Davis, Middleton; Grace Farnan, South Hamilton; Michelle Migdalovich, Swampscott; Jordan Miller, Lynnfield; Danielle Tacheny, Rowley; and Dylan Woodrow, Marblehead; and Y2I 2011 Alumni–Dani Bloom, Danvers; Harrison Bond, Marblehead; Julia Ginsburg, Swampscott; Scott Powell, Swampscott; Mara Tzizik, Ipswich; and Zachary Schutzman, Topsfield.
